continuing with our technological woes

We're still here, but we've now discovered some new problems between sweb pre-password-synchronization and sweb post-password-synchronization. Meanwhile, for all those who think I saw a ferret cross the road in India (or who think I am delusional and there was nothing there at all) I say, "Indian Grey Mongoose!" Not only is it the right size (about 3' ~ 1/2 tail, 1/2 body), shape (thick tail, stout body, short legs, long snout) and color (tawny), but it is also diurnal and commonly found throughout India especially near people.

The wonders of technology

Here we sit in the computer room at the Ekstrom Library waiting for SWEB to be happy with us. We have brand new laptops that are shiny and have blue lights. Sue agrees with me. I am delirious from getting up too early and not yet having enough cookies (although there is a delicious looking pecan roll behind me). Unfortunately, I do not want to break apart the pecan roll because I am afraid my fingers will stick to the keyboard.
